Studied Business and Economics in Chile at Universidad Catolica
More than 12 years of experience in the Wine Business (Logistics, Sales, Marketing and even has its own Pinot Noir wine production)
Worked the last 10 years in International Positions in Europe and North America for a large South American Wine company.
Last 4 years fully focused in North America as Sales and Marketing VP for Santa Rita Group.
Based in San Francisco, California.

Second Generation born and raised in Napa.
David participated in all aspects of his family's winery, Duckhorn Vineyards.
Graduated with a BS in Agricultural Finance from California State University in Fresno, in 1991, after which he spent the next three years as an Assistant Vice-President at Bank of America.
In 1996 earned his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley
2002-2006 was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a small winery in Napa. David acquired winemaking knowledge, at the University of California at Davis.
In 2005, the opportunity to bring wines to China led to him overseeing the operations of Via Pacifica Selections and, in late-2007, structured a buyout of the founders to assume control.
In 2008, David with Via Pacifica Selections opened its first office in Shanghai, China and has developed a successful distribution platform in greater China.

Studied Agronomy in Universidad Mayor, Chile.
Specialization in Enology, Universidad de Chile.
Earned MBA in Sonoma State University, CA, USA.
Worked for 4 years in Viña Quintay as Production Manager and Chief Winemaker.
10 years of experience in the wine business, including viticulture, production and commercialization of wine, with Viña Quintay and Casas del Bosque.
US Wine Ambassador Viña Casas del Toqui (2013-2015).
Board Member at Viña Casas del Toqui.
